Various nationals, particularly from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Kyrgyzstan, usually arrive here for Tablighi activities. They were there to carry out what the Jamat calls 'Chilla’-preaching activities across the country throughout the year. There was no formal convention as previously believed, but there was a bigger than usual gathering of preachers this month.
